Svartensgatan 7 Interior design and graphic profile for Svartensgatan 7. The design is futuristic with a color palette in subtle, natural colors juxtaposed with harsh fluorescent lighting. Glass surfaces, light panels and walls are covered by illustrations and typography that capture fictional environments and people in motion. The custom components, such as shelving and the reception desk, are made out of lacquered naked MDF. Oblique angles, inspired by the number seven, appear repeatedly throughout the space, for instance, the sloping sides of the reception desk. The lighting is clustered in the center of the ceiling, with tangled cords and a sense of randomness. The new interior includes a retail area, a reception, seventeen work stations, two shampoo stations and a lounge, which all together take up a total area of 260 sq meters. |

Optilon Graphic & Interior Design. Supply Chain Management agency, Optilon in Stockholm. The concept is inspired from the fashion industry and specifically, the style of Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto. Futuristic cuttings play the masculine against the feminine. Yamamoto’s asymmetric and poetic draped dresses informed our use of a black and white base with an unusual punctuation of bright colours. The chosen palette and form also resemble the landscape of an archipelago. |

Suite 809 Graphic Design. Design for one off Suite at the Hotel Anglais. The view from the room made us start thinking of throwing paperplanes towards the park. That’s how we came up with the idea for this artwork. The illustrations simply symbolize the start process of folding paper planes. The most basic paper plane would only take at most six steps to complete. Leonardo da Vinci is often cited as the inventor of paper planes, although this is debatable since the Chinese invented both modern paper and the kite. The earliest known date of the creation of modern paper planes was said to have been in 1909. |

LDA T-Shirt Collection A graphical mixtape of city life behind the façades. Each picture contains fragments of different lives: places, events and symbols. The architecture that is our work surface is also the surface of society. Every building is a monument to the people within it. Those who are alive. The living dead. And those who have gone but live on. The line is a spinoff from the LIFE & DEATH IN ARCHITECTURE exhibition held at Gallery Kleerup during Stockholm Design Week in Febuary 2008. LDA T-SHIRT LINE Features ten designs. |
